Who can participate?

Spelling Bee competition is a very interesting academic contest which enhances the skills of student in several aspects related to English language. These days' language skills are being given very high priority in enabling young, students to face the world with confidence. It is very beneficial to young students to be exposed to and participate in this sort of competition right from the early stages of learning.

Spelling Bee program will help learners to improve logic, Comprehension. It paves way to better vocabulary, sharpens listening spelling and writing abilities other than the main focus of focusing on mechanism of language through right spelling and the healthy competitive spirit motivates the students to learn out their own without any compulsion, this self-based learning improves retention and result in a systematic and structured understanding of English language.

Eligibility & Categories

  • This competition is designed for students in classes 1-10, in any public and private schools in India.
  • Students must register within the scheduled date and time to be eligible for participation.
  • Participant must have paid the required participation fee as mentioned in the Registration & Fee section below.

Categories

There are 6 categories based on the standard of the student.

Levels of the Competition

Spelling Bee competition is designed in 4 levels.

  1. School level
  2. District level
  3. State level
  4. National level

Schedule & Location (written tests)

School level competition


School level competition would be conducted in your school between first week of August and last week of October, as per the date allotted to the competition organizer by the school authority

District level competition


District level competition also would be conducted in your school between first week of November and last week of December, as per the date allotted to the competition organizer by the school authority


State level competition


State level would be conducted in the month of January / February, the venue and date allocated would be intimated to the participant through a notice well in advance through their own school or by mail or message.

National level competition


National level would be conducted in the month of April/May (After the Academic exams); the venue and date allocated would be intimated to the participant through a notice well in advance through their own school or by mail or message
