VOLKS Spelling Bee is a competitive event for all school level students from 1st to 10th class. It is a platform for students to improve and advance skills associated with good spelling habits.
Spelling Bee competition is designed in 4 levels.
- School level
- District level
- State level
- National level
The competition starts at school level and progresses to the national level. At every level of written test roughly one third of students or the students whosecure 60% and above will be eligible for the next level
Based on the cumulative marks of the rounds , three winners in each category will be declared at every level of competition.
VOLKS Spelling Bee is accessible to all school students from class 1 to 10. The Contestants compete in six different categories depending on the class they study in.

To join VOLKS Spelling Bee, you have to join the competition at the School Level. Every child must be registered through the School. Every Contestant would require the parent/guardian’s consent on the registration form, which would be distributed through the school.
If the VOLKS spelling bee has not come to your school, send us the details of your school. Our team will contact your school. Or you can join through the open level championship when it is announced on particular day in your area.
Students would be given an admit card by the time of State level competition in which students photograph and school principal’s signature is must
Please report the matter to the office next to you. We shall arrange to give you an alternate admit card
SCHOOL LEVEL:
- Winners at School Level Would receive Winner's Certificate; Commendation Certificates would be awarded to those qualifying to participate in the inter School Competition. All the other Contestants would receive Participation Certificates.
DISTRICT LEVEL:
- Winners at District Level would receive Winner's Certificate and a Medal. Commendation Certificates and Medals would be awarded to those qualifying to participate in The State level Competition. PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATE WOULD BE ISSUED TO ALL OTHER CONTESTANTS.
STATE LEVEL:
- Winners at State Level would receive Winner's Certificate and Trophy. Commendation Certificate and Medals would be awarded to those qualifying to participate in the National level Championship. All the other Contestants would receive PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATES.
NATIONAL LEVEL:
- Winners at National level would receive Winner's Certificate and Trophies, cash awards and gift hampers Commendation Certificate and Medals would be awarded to those qualifying to participate in the National level Championship. All the other Contestants would receive PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATES.
School level competition
- School level competition would be conducted in your school between first week of August and last week of October, as per the date allotted to the competition organizer by the school authority
District level competition
- District level competition also would be conducted in your school between first week of November and last week of December, as per the date allotted to the competition organizer by the school authority
State level competition
- State level would be conducted in the month of January / February, the venue and date allocated would be intimated to the contestants through a notice well in advance through their own school or by mail or message
National levelcompetition
- National level would be conducted in the month of April/ May (After the Academic exams); the venue and date allocated would be intimated to the contestants through a notice well in advance through their own school or by mail or message
Students from 1st till 10th class from any public or private schools in India are eligible to participate in this contest.
Participation in VOLKS spelling bee improves your child’s knowledge mechanics of English language i.e., spelling pronunciation comprehension and vocabulary and so on.
No refunds can be made once registration is completed successfully.
Contestants would be provided with free study material at every level on registration fee only (it is different for every category)
Spelling bee does not merely involve rote learning of words. Rather, preparation for a bee is a comprehensive learning process that allows children to learn the definition pronunciation, and roots of the word. The valuable learning outcome of spelling bee results in the children gaining Competency over vocabulary and this allows them to excel at reading and writing.
